The town of Plainfield is building a 600-seat performing arts venue contiguous to a new town hall, designed to present both community-based performing groups such as the Hendricks Symphony, Hendricks Civic Theatre, the Children’s Ballet, along with touring productions and musical events from around the region. The multi-use theater will feature a large proscenium stage with motorized rigging, an orchestra pit lift, and LED stage lighting. Support spaces for performers, technicians, staff, and volunteers will be provided to accommodate a range of uses—from a full touring production to a local dance recital with 100 young artists.
