Tanglewood Learning Institute
Lenox, Massachusetts

Nextstage Design collaborated with architect William Rawn Associates and acoustician Kierkegaard Associates on this three-building complex near the famed Ozawa Hall designed by the same team. The all-season complex will provide performance and rehearsal space for the Tanglewood Music Center and facilities for the recently inaugurated Tanglewood Learning Institute, which offers education and enrichment programs to Boston Symphony Orchestra audiences. The largest building will provide flexible a space with seating for 200 patrons for concerts and up to 300 for education programs, in addition to accommodating rehearsals, banquets, and other special events. Two additional smaller studios provide space for small ensemble rehearsals, master classes, and lectures.
